Since graduating from University in Illustration in 2019, Paola has been working as a freelance illustrator from a small studio based in the UK.
Paola's work is all hand painted traditionally using acrylic gouache, which she has been using now for around four years. This medium is used to create detailed illustrations which have a trace of whimsical elements.
“I love to create illustrations which capture a moment in time within a narrative I have created. When someone looks at my paintings, I want them to look at the small details and imagine what may have happened to lead up to that moment captured by the illustration, or what may happen if that moment resumed.
I wish for the illustrations I create can leave my little studio and reach others.”
